The idea was simple — India’s farms produce more than ever, but too much of that hard work is lost between harvest and market simply because proper storage isn’t available where it’s needed. We set out to change that, one chamber, one harvest, one customer at a time.
India’s horticultural output has more than tripled over the last three decades, yet the country’s cold storage capacity hasn’t kept pace — leaving a gap of several million tonnes nationwide. That gap shows up as spoiled stock, forced distress sales, and income farmers and traders never get to keep. Jawahira Agro exists to be part of closing that gap — starting with our own 45,000 sq. ft. facility and 5,000 MT of capacity.
